Five Dot Fly Fishing Club is situated on one of California's largest private stillwater fisheries; Round Valley Reservoir. This 400-acre reservoir is located in the upper elevations of Susanville California and is in an ultra secluded basin. Triploid Rainbow Trout are growing fast and strong in this fertile environment and can be commonly caught in the 2 to 5 pound range along with some larger fish. 

 

The reservoir is fed by natural springs, seasonal run-off and also from smaller lakes located in remote areas of the Five Dot Ranch. The Ranch is located only a few miles from Eagle Lake and is close enough to Susanville for anglers to have plenty of options for lodging and camping while fishing this remarkable fishery.

 

A limited number of aluminum boats without motors are available. Fisherman are allowed to bring their own electric trolling motors and/or float tubes or personal pontoon boats.

The reservoir can accommodate groups of 2-15 people. Smaller groups may be combined with other groups of similar size.
